Berlin based avant-garde electronic producer Shapednoise enlists prolific rap duo Armand Hammer for new track 'Family'. Rappers billy woodz and Elucid, who make up Armand Hammer are some of the most prolific artists making music right now, producing a seemingly endless stream of albums and features under various aliases. The most recent being woodz' album Maps with Kenny Segal - on 'Family' they rap over Shapednoise' warped industrial type beat, seemingly crudely welded out of screaming pistons and clanking machinery, a deeply dark and unsettling junkyard soundscape. The track is taken from his upcoming new album Absurd Matter, which boasts an impressive array of guests and features including Moor Mother, Zelooperz, Brodinski, and David Lynch sound designer Dean Hurley and is set for release on the 14th of July on Weight Looming Records. -Toby Evans-Jesra
